About The Position

Sika is looking for an experienced Compounder to join its growing SIKA Power team in Grandview, MO for its Automotive and Industry team. This role involves combining chemicals in specific quantities to create quality product batches according to work orders and vendor specifications. The Compounder will apply basic knowledge of chemical reactions, adhere to all safety protocols, and operate required equipment safely. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment and performing miscellaneous duties as requested by supervisors or team leads are also key aspects of this position. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills characterized by sincerity, persuasiveness, and clarity of thought.

Requirements

High school Equivalency
Good Attendance Record
Ability to meet physical requirements
Ability to wear a respirator

Responsibilities

Combine chemicals in quantities specific to the work order to make quality products batches.
Read and follow procedures to create batches according to the vendors specifications.
Apply basic knowledge of the chemicals reactions to produce quality batches and /or address errors as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols, as well as, safely operating all required equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform miscellaneous duties at any supervisors or team leads request.
