About The Position

Sika is looking for an experienced Compounder to join its growing SIKA Power team in Grandview, MO for its Automotive and Industry team. This role involves combining chemicals in specific quantities to create quality product batches according to vendor specifications and procedures. The Compounder will utilize basic knowledge of chemical reactions to produce batches and address any errors, while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and operating required equipment safely. A clean and safe work environment must be maintained, and miscellaneous duties may be assigned by supervisors or team leads. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills characterized by sincerity, persuasiveness, and clarity of thought.

Requirements

High school Equivalency
Good Attendance Record
Ability to meet physical requirements
Ability to wear a respirator

Responsibilities

Combine chemicals in quantities specific to the work order to make quality products batches.
Read and follow procedures to create batches according to the vendors specifications.
Apply basic knowledge of the chemicals reactions to produce quality batches and /or address errors as needed.
Adhere to all safety protocols, as well as, safely operating all required equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Perform miscellaneous duties at any supervisors or team leads request.
