About The Position

Perform tasks required to manufacture sterile ophthalmic solutions while meeting applicable regulatory requirements. The role includes pharmacy operations such as raw material weighing and assembly, batch compounding, solution-line preparation, filter preparation, filling support and line changeovers, tank scheduling, documentation of activities, and records review. The position also involves cleaning equipment and work areas and entering confined spaces (tanks).

This is a third-shift weekend schedule: Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The stated pay is $28.13 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. The position may be available in Greenville, South Carolina.

Requirements

• Three years of manufacturing experience or an advanced education degree (two- or four-year) is required.
• Ability to manage a wide span of control and multitask.
• Good time-management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a group or independently.
• Excellent math and reading-comprehension skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills, including Outlook and web-based applications.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• cGMP experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
• ERPLx experience preferred.
• Previous compounding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and assemble raw materials.
