About The Position

Component Processing Technicians manufacture blood products. The role involves handling blood products; quarantining or discarding products; working with biohazardous and chemical waste; preparing and labeling components; and assisting with inventory counts and maintenance. No prior experience is required because paid on-the-job training is provided. This is a full-time third-shift position, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, every other Saturday, with an on-call rotation.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Successful pre-employment background check and drug screen.

• Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
