About The Position

ImpactLife is seeking a Component Processing Technician to support blood product manufacturing. The role involves handling blood products, quarantining or discarding products, working with biohazardous and chemical waste, preparing and labeling components, and assisting with inventory counts and maintenance. No prior experience is required; paid on-the-job training is provided. This is a full-time third-shift position from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with every-other-Saturday work and an on-call rotation. ImpactLife is a community nonprofit blood center that provides lifesaving blood products to hospitals and emergency medical service providers across a four-state region.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and follow established Standard Operating Procedures.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production, or manufacturing setting.
