About The Position

Component Processing Technicians manufacture blood products. The role involves handling blood products, quarantining or discarding products, working with biohazardous and chemical waste, preparing and labeling components, and assisting with inventory counts and maintenance. No prior experience is required; paid on-the-job training is provided. This is a full-time first-shift position, scheduled Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with holiday rotation. The position requires availability for varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and follow established Standard Operating Procedures.
Ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends, and participate in holiday rotation.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
