About The Position

ImpactLife is hiring a Component Processing Tech to support blood product manufacturing. The role involves handling blood products, quarantining or discarding products, managing biohazardous and chemical waste, preparing and labeling components, and assisting with inventory counts and maintenance. Paid on-the-job training is provided, including for candidates without prior experience.

This is a full-time position scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with holiday rotation. The role requires availability for varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends. ImpactLife describes its work as providing lifesaving blood products to hospitals and emergency medical service providers across a four-state region. The organization is an independent community nonprofit with more than 800 employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow established Standard Operating Procedures.
• Must complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Ability to work varied hours, including days, evenings, and weekends; scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with holiday rotation.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production, or manufacturing setting is preferred.
