About The Position

As an entry-level Compliance Inspector, you will work independently in the field executing company-provided routes. You will conduct physical and visual inspections of underground (UST) and aboveground (AST) petroleum storage tank systems to ensure they meet federal EPA and state environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving history.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including multi-day travel away from home (up to 5+ consecutive days).
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Comfort using iPads, iOS operating systems, and digital apps for reporting.
• Strong self-motivation, high integrity, and a focus on safety.
• Regularly moves and positions inspection equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Maneuvers heavier access covers (75–100 lbs) utilizing leverage tools.
• Frequently stoops, bends, kneels, crouches, or reaches to access low-clearance areas, sumps, and containment basins.
• Inspects components visually, reads regulatory documents/gauges, and detects environmental hazards or petroleum odors (e.g., fuel vapors or leaks) to ensure site safety.
• Drives company vehicles for extended periods and communicates effectively with team members and clients.

Nice To Haves

• 1–6 months of related experience is a plus, but not required!

Responsibilities

• Travel assigned routes, operating a company vehicle safely across various driving conditions.
• Perform visual and physical inspections of clients’ petroleum storage tank systems, containment sumps, and dispenser islands in outdoor environments.
• Accurately collect and organize inspection data using company-provided iOS software platforms/iPads.
• Identify, document, and report any unsafe conditions, leaks, or environmental hazards promptly.
• Serve as a professional, professional representative of 7G, addressing customer requests and collecting feedback to enhance service quality.
