Position Overview: Are you looking for a fast-paced, influential position handling a broad range of internal investigative matters related to the code of conduct? We are searching for an experienced and talented internal investigator professional to join this highly collaborative Ethics and Compliance team, housed in Freddie Mac’s Enterprise Risk Division. The Compliance-Ethics Investigations Lead is responsible for investigations related to fraud, compliance, and ethical concerns within the organization. They will also collaborate with various departments to ensure effective risk management and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Our Impact: The Ethics team within the Compliance Risk department is responsible for development, implementation and evaluation of a variety of programs that support the compliance, ethics and ethical culture initiatives at Freddie Mac, including: Implementing the elements of a best-in-class Ethics program. Providing oversight to ensure compliance risk related to Governmental and Conservator obligations, laws and regulations are identified, addressed and mitigated. Reviewing Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) to understand how process, risk and controls are impacting first line compliance with obligations. Providing advisory services, and effective challenge to first line on risks that could impact Freddie Mac. Collaborating and coordinating within Enterprise Risk to provide a holistic view and a lens into the interconnectivity of risks. Engaging with FHFA to ensure collaboration and transparency.
