Compliance Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at Point72, you will work with Compliance and Technology departments to develop innovative products while ensuring ethical conduct and professionalism. Your responsibilities will include collecting business requirements, investigating alerts raised by Compliance technology systems, communicating with stakeholders, identifying areas for process improvement, documenting technical systems, and providing training and support to end-users. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, compliance officer, or technologist in a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment bank, proficiency with SQL, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Partner with Compliance professionals to collect business requirements and write software specifications
• Conduct deep-dive investigations into alerts raised by Compliance technology systems
• Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that solutions meet business requirements
• Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations for changes
• Document existing technical systems used by Compliance
• Provide training and support to end-users of Compliance technology systems

• 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, compliance officer, or technologist in a hedge fund, asset manager, or investment bank
• Proficiency with SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with trade surveillance or short sale marking is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with project management
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
