About The Position

The Compliance Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring DingoBlu's compliance management system to support adherence to applicable federal and state banking laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role has direct responsibility for the consumer complaint management and training programs while also supporting broader compliance risk assessment, monitoring, audit, and regulatory reporting activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in bank regulatory compliance, risk management, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of consumer protection laws and banking regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports for senior management.
  • Experience managing or contributing to a complaint management process.
  • Experience developing or delivering training programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification such as CRCM, CAMS, or similar.
  • Experience with compliance management software and complaint-tracking systems.
  • Prior experience supporting regulatory examinations by the OCC, FDIC, Federal Reserve, CFPB, or a state banking department.
  • Experience with a neobank or bank sponsor program is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and interpret federal and state banking regulations (e.g., BSA/AML, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, UDAAP, Reg E, Reg Z, Reg B, and FDCPA) and assess their impact on operations.
  • Develop, review, and update compliance policies and procedures to reflect current regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments across business lines and recommend corrective action for identified gaps.
  • Support internal audits and regulatory examinations by preparing documentation, responding to information requests, and tracking remediation of findings.
  • Maintain the compliance monitoring and testing calendar and report results to management and the Board as required.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate their implications to relevant business units.
  • Own and administer the consumer complaint management program, ensuring complaints are logged, categorized, investigated, and resolved within established timeframes.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for escalated complaints, including those received through regulators, the CFPB complaint portal, social media, or executive correspondence.
  • Analyze complaint trends and root causes to identify systemic issues, emerging risks, and opportunities for process or policy improvement.
  • Prepare and present periodic complaint reporting and trend analysis to senior management and applicable committees.
  • Coordinate with business units to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant responses to customers.
  • Maintain complaint files and documentation in accordance with regulatory recordkeeping requirements.
  • Design, deliver, and maintain DingoBlu's training program for employees at all levels, including new-hire onboarding and annual refresher training.
  • Develop role-specific training content tailored to job responsibilities, processes, and regulatory risk exposure.
  • Track training completion, maintain training records, and report compliance training metrics to management.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials to reflect regulatory changes, examination findings, and emerging risks.
  • Partner with department managers and other business-line managers to integrate training requirements into onboarding and ongoing development plans.
