About The Position

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 50 firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate interested in sophisticated complex commercial disputes, business litigation, and high-stakes civil litigation for major companies and innovative businesses across a variety of industries.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of complex commercial litigation or business litigation experience
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment
• Strong academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Nice To Haves

• Experience handling sophisticated commercial disputes, contract claims, business torts, corporate disputes, and other complex civil matters
• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
• Experience taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
• Experience managing complex discovery, document production, and case strategy
• Experience with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Ability to independently manage significant portions of complex matters while collaborating with partners and clients

Responsibilities

• Handling sophisticated commercial disputes, contract claims, business torts, corporate disputes, and other complex civil matters
• Litigating matters in state and federal courts
• Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
• Taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
• Managing complex discovery, document production, and case strategy
• Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Independently managing significant portions of complex matters while collaborating with partners and clients
• Developing sophisticated litigation experience and advancing your career
• Direct client interaction and involvement in developing case strategy

Benefits

• Compensation $225,000 – $390,000+
• Hybrid flexibility
