About The Position

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate interested in sophisticated complex commercial disputes, business litigation, and high-stakes civil litigation for major companies and other sophisticated clients across a variety of industries.

Requirements

2–6 years of complex commercial litigation or business litigation experience
Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment
Strong academic credentials
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted

Responsibilities

Handling sophisticated commercial disputes, contract claims, business torts, corporate disputes, and other complex civil matters
Litigating matters in state and federal courts
Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
Taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
Managing complex discovery, document production, and case strategy
Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
Independently managing significant portions of complex matters while collaborating with partners and clients
Providing excellent client service and communication
