•$20 - $71

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a Computer Science or Computer Engineering student to support its Back-End Compiler Team. The team constructs and emits high-performance GPU machine instructions for graphics technologies including OpenGL, Vulkan, and DX, and compute technologies including CUDA, PTX, OpenCL, Fortran, and C++. It develops compiler performance and capabilities for NVIDIA’s parallel SIMT architectures. The intern will investigate and develop solutions to challenging compiler back-end problems in line with their experience and knowledge. They will work with a mentor as part of the larger OCG team and collaborate with global compiler, hardware, and application teams on improvements and problem resolution. The role is part of work in deep-learning compiler technology, spanning architecture design and support through functional languages. This is a Summer 2027 internship. The posting lists an intern hourly pay range of USD 20–71, based on position, location, year in school, degree, and experience. Intern benefits are also available. Applications are accepted at least until November 2, 2026.
