About The Position

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking talented and highly motivated individuals to assist their Software Engineering team with the design and development of leading-edge products for military and space-based applications. The Summer Engineering Internship Program offers students the opportunity to apply engineering skills in a dynamic and real-world environment. The Software Engineer Internship provides an opportunity to work with the lead engineer responsible for meeting technical requirements.

Requirements

• Majoring in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Studying C++
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university having completed their sophomore year.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Maintaining a 3.0 grade point average or higher.
• Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance, which includes US citizenship.
• Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

• Develops computer software programs for narrowly defined product specifications as part of the product design process.
• Reviews, analyzes and interprets product performance specifications that outline specific tasks for each design module.
• Composes computer programs using programming language.
• Tests programs written to ensure that they will perform well under all circumstances.
