Your Role in Our Mission As the Compensation Specialist, you will support ESPH’s compensation strategy by developing and maintaining salary structures, conducting market analyses, and ensuring all job descriptions are accurate and compliant. You will partner with leaders across the agency to develop/update position descriptions, administer compensation programs, and provide data driven insights. In this role, you will also serve as the internal expert for the PayScale platform, lead compensation-related reporting in UKG, and collaborate with HR Compliance on FLSA classifications. Attention to detail and previous experience building out compensation philosophy and structure are a must.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of Human Resources experience, including 2 years in compensation analysis or compensation program administration
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking, salary structures, and job evaluation
  • Knowledge of FLSA, pay equity, and compensation compliance
  • Proficiency with Excel and HRIS systems (UKG strongly preferred)
  • Strong communication and partnership skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
  • Valid, unrestricted NC driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required

Nice To Haves

  • PayScale experience preferred
  • Experience in multi-site, healthcare, or human services environment a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • CCP a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support ESPH’s compensation strategy by developing and maintaining salary structures.
