Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of Human Resources experience, including 2 years in compensation analysis or compensation program administration.
  • Experience with compensation benchmarking, salary structures, and job evaluation.
  • Knowledge of FLSA, pay equity, and compensation compliance.
  • Proficiency with Excel and HRIS systems (UKG strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication and partnership skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.
  • Valid, unrestricted NC driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building out compensation philosophy and structure.
  • PayScale experience preferred.
  • Experience in multi‑site, healthcare, or human services environment a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
  • CCP a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain salary structures.
  • Conduct market analyses.
  • Ensure all job descriptions are accurate and compliant.
  • Partner with leaders across the agency to develop/update position descriptions.
  • Administer compensation programs.
  • Provide data driven insights.
  • Serve as the internal expert for the PayScale platform.
  • Lead compensation-related reporting in UKG.
  • Collaborate with HR Compliance on FLSA classifications.
