About The Position

The College of Natural Sciences at Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking passionate and engaging adjunct faculty members to teach part-time, face-to-face instruction at its Phoenix campus. This role involves facilitating classroom lectures and discussions, engaging students in learning course objectives, assessing student performance, and mentoring student success. Adjunct faculty are expected to provide a positive example by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission. The College of Natural Sciences focuses on advancing scientific knowledge and understanding, with faculty acting as energetic advisors committed to student growth academically, spiritually, and personally. Requirements

  • Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or Forensic Science
  • Attach unofficial transcript reflecting degree earned with 18 graduate credit hours in Chemistry or Forensic Science
  • Attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

  • MS/doctorate in Chemistry or Forensic Science
