About The Position

CS Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Company Owned Van Delivery Driver to pick up and deliver goods and packages using a company van. The preferred schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A $500 hiring bonus is offered for full-time employees and $250 for part-time employees. Drivers receive background and drug testing, an extensive orientation and training program, and in most cases TSA certification and screening. Benefits begin on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment.

Requirements

Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or a related field.
Must be at least 21 years old.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Ability to effectively present information to customers, dispatch, and other company employees.
Clean driving record and a current, valid motor vehicle license.
Provide a Department of Motor Vehicles driving abstract that is no more than 30 days old.
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Ability to handle physical workload.
Ability to read a map.
Deadline-oriented.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up products at customer locations in a timely manner.
Operate the company-owned vehicle safely and without incidents.
Load and unload the vehicle at company and customer locations.
Check in and check out with a supervisor daily.
Provide proper documentation using company-provided mobile devices and, at times, paper manifests or bills of lading.
Access, use, and safeguard sensitive, valuable, or critical proprietary information reliably to ensure company and information security.
Access, use, and safeguard company information systems reliably to ensure security.
Abide by company guidelines, including uniform, attendance, behavior, and other administrative policies.
Perform additional duties on a company-issued smartphone as requested.
Inspect and monitor the delivery vehicle and its contents according to Department of Transportation requirements.
Maintain proper chain of custody for packages and materials being picked up or delivered.
Maintain a positive and regular attendance record.
