About The Position
Country Gardens, a state licensed assisted living facility, is seeking a part-time Companion. The position is 24 hours per two-week pay period and works the day shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The companion must be available to work every other weekend and holiday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Prior experience in assisted living, adult foster care, or nurse aide work.
- Enjoy helping others.
- Valid, non-restricted driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, which may include dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
- Pass medications.
- Support social activities.
- Perform housekeeping.
- Provide transportation using the facility van.
