About The Position

The CSL Program Manager is responsible for directing and supporting all aspects of operations for Community Supported Living in their region. The CSL Program Manager will work with key functional areas to ensure quality supports and budget compliance and is responsible for the implementation of Individual and Behavioral Support Plans, supervision of individuals’ supports and overseeing ongoing development of programs. Counties covered: Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, and Waupaca.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or higher
  • 1 – 3 years of experience managing behaviors and diverse medical needs
  • Strong Leadership and development skills
  • Proficient in MS Office products (MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to motivate others
  • Conflict resolution and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to Maintain confidentiality
  • Knowledge with managing a budget
  • Flexibility - available 24/7 to meet the needs of the program

Responsibilities

  • Supervises the Direct Support Professionals in individuals’ homes and apartments and are responsible for training, supervision, scheduling and performance appraisals of the Direct Support Professionals working in these programs.
  • Ensures the needs and desires of the individuals are met or exceeded through the targeted use of staff.
  • May include working direct care, including ADLs, assisting with medical appointments, emergency treatment, transportation, community connections/integration and other supports.
  • Manages personnel and ensures staff coverage of the program at all times.
  • Provides supports and services for the program in instances where other staff are not available.
  • Includes on-call responsibilities and providing care to those supported.
  • Creates and maintains a safe environment in the home that meets the needs and preferences of the individuals living in their own home and complies with the policies of the organization and all federal, state and local regulations.
  • Establishes and maintains strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other staff, Care Program Managers, Guardians, family members, neighbors and community members.
