About The Position
Columbia Community Mental Health is a nonprofit agency and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that provides services to individuals with mental, addiction and developmental disabilities. This position provides direct client services to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illnesses and/or addiction issues who reside in the agency residential facilities. To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Abilities to teach activities of daily living: housekeeping, cooking, personal hygiene, and personal finance. Must have the knowledge/abilities to model appropriate interpersonal/vocational skills/behaviors. Able to deal effectively with high stress situations, handle unusual human behavior, resolve conflict. Reliable transportation, good driving record, valid driver’s license, and proof of current automobile insurance.
Requirements
- High school diploma/equivalency preferred
- At least one-year experience working with serious mentally ill
- Combination of education/experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties outlined for this position may be considered.
