We endeavour to recruit and mentor human service professionals with talent and commitment for disability advocacy and community engagement. The Calgary Alternative Day Options (CADO) program is a community-based day program serving adults with disabilities. The program occurs in inclusive settings which allow natural interaction with a variety of people. Clients can choose to do one or more of the following: self employment, volunteering, recreation & leisure. For each of these options, clients are supported to set goals, develop new skills, and create natural supports within the community. The CADO Community Support Coordinator provides leadership, coordination and quality control in the design, delivery and monitoring of the Calgary Alternative Day Options (CADO) program.
