About The Position

This role serves as a primary community standards coordinator within the Community Standards Process, addressing potential violations of the University Policy Handbook. The coordinator will regularly meet with students, maintain conduct files and databases, track sanctions and follow-up actions, and prepare conduct reports. Additionally, the position involves assisting in teaching and developing educational offerings, collaborating with Residence Life staff, and acting as a liaison to Public Safety and other departments. The role may also involve overseeing student workers and assisting with other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year directly related work experience, preferably in a higher education.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Familiar with or able to quickly learn University computer systems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary community standards coordinator in the Community Standards Process of potential violations of the Community Standards in the University Policy Handbook.
  • Regularly meet with students as part of the Community Standards Process.
  • Maintain conduct files and database(es) on all cases, track sanctions and follow-up action and prepare conduct reports.
  • Assist in teaching and/or developing various classes through educational offerings.
  • Collaborate with Residence Life staff and act as a liaison to Public Safety and other departments as needed.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
