Community Specialist

Strategic Sanitation ServicesMission Viejo, CA

About The Position

We are looking for a Community Specialist to join our team! Are you a relationship-builder who thrives on connection, accountability, and making a real difference in the community? We’re looking for a Community Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing team — someone who takes ownership of a portfolio of customers, earns their trust, and grows with them over time. This is a field-forward, people-first role with a clear path to earning more as you perform. Strategic Sanitation Services, Inc. is a purpose-driven company rooted in the values of Respect, Reliability, and Responsibility, with a deep commitment to our purpose — honoring God, caring for people, and serving our community. We provide concierge-level trash and sanitation management services to high-end apartment communities and HOAs across Southern California. We operate using the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS®), with clear roles, accountability, and measurable results at every level. Our team members are trusted to own their work, bring issues to the surface, and execute against clear priorities every quarter. The Community Specialist is the face of Strategic Sanitation Services to our customers. You will own a portfolio of active communities — building relationships, protecting revenue, finding opportunities to expand, and ensuring every client feels known, valued, and supported. This is not a call-center or quote-and-forget role. You will build relationships with property managers and HOA boards, bring in new communities, and grow your portfolio over time — protecting existing revenue while continuously expanding it. You bring the relationship. We bring the systems, the support, and a compensation plan that rewards your results.

  • Comfortable presenting proposals and handling objections in person
  • Organized and detail-oriented; you can manage multiple accounts without dropping the ball
  • Proficient in HubSpot or willing to learn quickly; comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory
