About The Position

The Community Services Officer (CSO) supports public safety operations by responding to non-emergency calls, assisting with crime prevention and community problem-solving, and providing administrative and field support to sworn personnel. Duties may include handling abandoned vehicle, animal-related, and found property complaints; completing administrative tasks; and assisting officers at crash and crime scenes.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, technical college, or university, or graduated within the six (6) months prior to applying
  • At least 18 years old
  • Possess a valid driver’s license
  • Successfully complete a background investigation
  • Successfully complete fingerprinting
  • Successfully complete a medical examination
  • Successfully complete a drug screening
