About The Position

A Community Relations Manager acts as a workplace liaison, mediating between community properties, management, and employees to ensure contract compliance, rapport, resolving escalations and grievances, and fostering positive communication. They are essential for maintaining a cooperative, informed, and productive work environment by conducting correspondence, investigations, delivering training, and ensuring policy adherence. This role serves as an Astound ambassador to the multifamily community and advocates for the multifamily community with internal stakeholders. The manager will negotiate the renewal of 40 units & under contracts to maximize retention of current bulk base while maintaining margins. As a key member of the multifamily team, they will provide insight into the bulk community in the renewal cycle, facilitate swift resolution to any issues that may arise at the multifamily community, and address any community-wide service problems and escalated resident issues. The role requires consistent communication of pertinent information to the property manager, maintaining an ongoing relationship to foster a partnering atmosphere, and conducting face-to-face or virtual visits of the entire property portfolio. Reviewing quarterly building scorecards with the assigned portfolio and coordinating with property management on all on-boarding and renewal events at the property are also key functions. The Community Relations Manager will work to close any gaps in service perceptions between Astound and the property, and utilize promotional campaigns, onsite activities, and internal resources to achieve established goals. Training on all new and existing products and solutions is also part of the role, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years' experience as a liaison between company and clients preferred.
  • A high level of professionalism and customer service focus are critical.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong attention to detail and thorough follow-up skills are required.
  • Identify the appropriate internal resources to resolve building related issues.
  • Heavily involved with internal cross-functional teams.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
