Community Relations Coordinator
About The Position
Southeastern Directions for Life is hiring a full-time Community Relations Coordinator at its Summit location. The role develops and maintains collaborative relationships that support the agency’s mission and strategic priorities. It serves as the primary liaison between the agency and community organizations, healthcare providers, referral sources, educational institutions, government agencies, and other stakeholders. The position works to improve awareness of services, strengthen partnerships, increase access to care, and support coordinated service delivery throughout the region. Nights and weekends are required as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business administration, healthcare administration, marketing, social work, psychology, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with community organizations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check, including fingerprinting, a Department of Social Services Central Registry check, a motor vehicle background check, and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Two to four years of experience in community relations, outreach, partnership development, healthcare, or a related field.
