About The Position

The RN Wellness Coordinator will design and implement programs that promote healthy behaviors and outcomes for employees. They are responsible for assessing the needs and interest of a population, educating and counseling employees on health topics, and evaluating the impact of wellness programs on a company's performance. In addition, they may help coordinate special events and programs to promote better health in the community. The RN Wellness Coordinator will need to have skills and knowledge in public health, organizational behavior, marketing and managing a population. Requirements

• Texas Registered Nurse License
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
• Experience teaching health education material to adult populations
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Experience in a home/community-based healthcare setting
