About The Position

The focus of this job includes supporting community-partnered research efforts through the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI). The ideal candidate would have experience both in community facing roles and conducting community-partnered research. This job will also include working directly with community members and partners, through tabling events in the community, and helping researchers who are interested in community-partnered research.

  • Ability to lift reports weighting approximately 15lbs
  • 2 years of experience
  • Master's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Participant recruitment and management
  • Completing Institutional Review Board protocols
  • Using the REDCap database to create surveys
  • Developing surveys
  • Completing interviews
  • Data cleaning
  • Supporting literature review and manuscript preparation
  • Working directly with community members and partners
  • Tabling events in the community
  • Helping researchers who are interested in community-partnered research
  • Coordinates high-level, protocol-related research procedures and study components
  • Manages one study or assists with larger studies
  • Ensures the safety of the research and laboratory
  • Manages staff
  • Audits studies
  • Recommends policy improvements
