About The Position

As an Operations Advisor within PNC's Investment Operations organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA. As a member of the Swap Dealer Regulatory Operations team, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of swap transaction data reported to regulatory repositories. This position is responsible for the daily monitoring, validation, and reconciliation of swap reporting data in compliance with CFTC regulations, including Parts 43, 45, and 23. In this role, you will investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, support portfolio reconciliation activities, and help maintain the quality of data used for regulatory reporting and risk management purposes. You will partner with Operations, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and business stakeholders to identify issues, drive resolutions, and support regulatory obligations. In addition to day-to-day operational responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives focused on enhancing and modernizing PNC's swap reporting and reconciliation processes. These efforts may include process improvements, automation, system enhancements, and the implementation of regulatory or business-driven changes. This position supports a critical operational support service, process, capability or initiative within an operational unit and ensures performance and/or risk indicators are met. It establishes and monitors process performance measurements and business impact, and prepares performance statistics and reports for internal stakeholders and senior management. The role monitors the production workflow and assists team members with escalated process issues. Independently identifies and resolves exceptions and serves as a point of escalation. It monitors the effectiveness and efficiency of production and/or process, determines and/or drives change and improvement efforts in production and/or processes, and ensures the business adheres to policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Independently resolves compliance issues and drives risk mitigation activities.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
