About The Position

The Pittsburgh Project Program Manager works directly under the Sr. Executive Vice President, managing the day to day operations of the Pittsburgh Project supported by the Heinz Family Foundation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Program/Project Management
• Advanced computer/technology skills
• Solid interpersonal skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization and time management capabilities
• Experience with preparing and giving presentations, both through online meeting sites and in person
• Innovative
• Self-starter with capabilities of working virtually
• Flexible
• Knowledge of military and veteran programs in Pittsburgh, PA
• Knowledge of the Military

Responsibilities

• Manage the program’s everyday activities to include the following: Day to day coordination with the team supporting the project
• Coordinate with PA Serves to ensure referral process is working accordingly
• Identify local events and activities to participate in
• Attending local events
• Presentation of CASY services in Pittsburgh to veterans, partners, etc.
• Development & Delivery of presentations
• Coordination of team coverage at local events, to include proper presentation and other materials
• Representing the organization in local committees
• Ensuring project goals are met regarding outreach to veterans, registration numbers, outcomes delivered, employer relationships, etc.
