Community Outreach Director
About The Position
The Community Outreach Director builds relationships with the broader community—including nursing facilities, retirement centers, physicians, hospital staff, and discharge planners—to develop referral sources for the community. The role also engages with local organizations, provides presentations and education about assisted living, memory care, and the community’s capabilities, tracks external marketing results, develops special events, and monitors customer satisfaction. The position requires spending more than 50% of the time outside the office developing leads and relationships.
Requirements
- Passion for helping seniors live their best life.
- Ability to spend more than 50% of work time outside the office developing leads and relationships.
- Demonstrated results in direct external and internal sales.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and the ability to use software systems.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with nursing facilities, retirement centers, physicians, hospital staff, discharge planners, and other community contacts to create referral sources.
- Participate in and engage with local organizations.
- Make presentations and provide education about assisted living, memory care, and the community’s capabilities.
- Track leads and results of external marketing efforts.
- Develop and implement special events to showcase the community.
- Monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction.
