About The Position

Provides intensive case management to individuals with chronic and persistent mental illness. These services are provided within an individual and/or group context. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Interpersonal skills

  • Assessment skills
  • Demonstrate ability to use computers and associated equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures.

  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Services Act
  • Positive approach to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
  • Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
