About The Position

Pony Bird is seeking a qualified, compassionate Program Manager to provide care and coordinate services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. The Program Manager joins the management team at the DeSoto location and oversees a group home, including its programming, staffing, and daily care. The listed salary is $54,745–$71,156, based on experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Social Services, Nursing, Special Education, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
At least 2 years of Program Management experience in a similar setting.
Proficiency with MS Office suites and various industry software programs.
Valid Missouri driver’s license and an insurable driving record.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Individual Service Plans based on assessments and observations.
Manage a group home operating 24 hours a day, including rotating on-call responsibilities and scheduling.
Supervise, plan, assign, and evaluate or monitor programming and the work of staff responsible for individuals’ daily care.
Work with therapists, service coordinators, administrators, and parents or guardians to maintain communication and provide feedback.
Support standardized procedures, implementation of support plans, and workflow, and improve efficiency among care and support providers.
Perform assessments, chart reviews, documentation, and mealtime and environmental monitoring.
