About The Position

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking 4 Community Liaison’s to support local communication, community presence, event coordination, and grassroots engagement in northern communities connected to the McIlvenna Bay Project. These are part-time (8 – 12 hours per week) casual positions based within the assigned community. Applicants must currently reside within the community they are applying for. Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in mid-2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. The Community Liaison will help bring people together, support conversations, and ensure community questions and ideas are shared through the right channels.

Requirements

  • Active, visible, and trusted in their community.
  • Comfortable volunteering, supporting events, and being present at community activities.
  • Good listeners who can have respectful conversations with community members.
  • Friendly, approachable, and able to build relationships at the grassroots level.
  • Organized and able to track questions, referrals, events, and follow-up items.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and use good judgment.
  • Reliable and able to complete simple monthly updates.
  • Comfortable using phone, email, and basic reporting templates, with support provided if needed.
  • Must currently reside within the community they are applying for.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community volunteering, event coordination, local leadership support, communications, education, administration, employment services, or outreach would be an asset, but is not required.
  • Cree language speaking is an asset but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Be a local point of contact for community members seeking information.
  • Support local community events, meetings, information sessions, school visits, job fairs, open houses, and other engagement activities.
  • Help coordinate event logistics, including promotion, attendance, room setup, supplies, sign-in sheets, and follow-up notes.
  • Be present in community and help support respectful, informal conversations with community members.
  • Work with Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan and, where appropriate, local umbrella organizations, volunteer groups, and partner organizations.
  • Help identify community questions, themes, concerns, and opportunities.
  • Connect employment, training, procurement, site tour, and community engagement questions to the appropriate Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan contact.
  • Maintain a simple community calendar to help track local events, meetings, school activities, cultural activities, and important dates.
  • Prepare short monthly updates on community touchpoints, events supported, referrals, questions, concerns, and recommended follow-up.
  • Participate in regular check-ins with Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan's Community & Indigenous Engagement Lead.
