About The Position

This is a limited term, non-exempt position with the Red Cliff Health Division. The goal of this role is to provide exposure to a wide variety of health activities, allowing the individual to gain a better understanding of rural, Tribal community healthcare. Applicants will be selected based on the information provided on their application form only, as there will be no interviews.

Requirements

Minimum of high school diploma, HSED or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and at least liability insurance.
Organization skills and attention to detail.
Computer skills: data entry, Excel program, Word, Publisher.
Verification of enrollment in post-secondary healthcare program.

Nice To Haves

Indian preference will be applied in the case of equally qualified applicants.
Preference will be given to Red Cliff youth, but other enrolled tribal members will also be considered in the case of equally qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Participate in Community Health activities as needed, including collecting Community Health Assessment data and assisting with the execution of the Community Health Improvement Plan.
Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard the privacy of patients in common areas of the clinic.
Attend staff and other meetings, in-services, and other events as directed by supervisor.
Maintain a clean and safe physical environment.
Alert administration and/or Health Center staff to problems and difficulties as circumstances may warrant.
