  • Experience with community platforms such as Discourse, Slack admin tooling, or similar.
  • Prior experience with ambassador, advocate, or contributor recognition programs.

  • Own day-to-day engagement on the Percona Forum and Community Slack, including welcoming new members, answering questions, and maintaining active discussions.
  • Monitor community health and sentiment across channels, identifying issues and celebrating successes.
  • Build relationships with active contributors, MVPs, and long-time community members.
  • Travel to conferences, meetups, and partner events to represent Percona and staff booths.
  • Provide regional support for community and partner events, managing logistics like swag and schedules, and offering on-site troubleshooting.
  • Act as the on-site point person at events, making real-time decisions when necessary.
  • Help run and improve internal community programs such as ambassador/advocate programs, contributor recognition, and onboarding for new community members.
  • Coordinate internally with Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure program alignment with company priorities.
