About The Position

This is a volunteer position with the Spokane County Democrats. The purpose of this role is to ensure all necessary materials and supplies for community outreach events are available, organized, and event-ready to support the goals of the organization. The role involves managing event materials, preparing and recovering supplies, tracking inventory, and coordinating with other team members.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move supply boxes (up to ~25 lbs.).
  • Basic tech skills to use QR code systems or spreadsheets.
  • Reliable, responsive, and able to meet deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to Democratic values and local community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, organize, and replenish materials used at community events including banners, literature, merchandise, clipboards, pens, sign-up sheets, display stands, and more.
  • Prepare event supply kits tailored to each event’s needs.
  • Receive returned materials after each event, clean, re-sort, restock, and reorganize for future use.
  • Implement and maintain a simple inventory system using QR codes, spreadsheets, or other tools to track supply levels and ensure timely restocking.
  • Work closely with the Booth Lead and Events Coordinator to understand the specific materials required for each event and ensure their availability.
  • Identify and prepare special items or materials required for themed events, candidate appearances, or coalition efforts.
