About The Position

Provide operational, administrative, and programmatic support for initiatives advancing the Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies' commitment to hunger relief, volunteerism, and related programs. Through program facilitation, grant coordination, partner and donor stewardship, volunteer logistics and communication, and data management, this position supports effective implementation of initiatives that reduce food insecurity and advance organizational goals.

The role provides administrative and operational support for hunger relief, volunteerism, foundation programs, and other organizational initiatives. It coordinates volunteer data and records, supports partner and donor stewardship, and handles grant research, writing, submission, tracking, and reporting. It also supports promotion of programs such as Venison Donation Grants, School Food Club grants, and grants supporting county farm bureau activities such as Doe Derbies.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least two years of professional work experience in a business setting.
• Ability to learn or experience using Volunteer Hub, Raisers Edge, or other CRM programs.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to travel as needed and stay overnight when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support for hunger relief, volunteerism, foundation programs, and other organizational initiatives.
• Coordinate volunteer data, including background checks and hours worked, and maintain related records in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Support partner and donor stewardship through accurate gift entry, timely acknowledgment processing, and annual maintenance of donor and constituent records.
• Research, write, submit, track, and report on grants.
• Support promotion of Venison Donation Grants, School Food Club grants, and grants supporting county farm bureau activities such as Doe Derbies.
• Support program facilitation, grant coordination, partner and donor stewardship, volunteer logistics and communication, and data management.
