About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people who have experienced extreme trauma. Clients are supported by a team that includes mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The Community-Based/Day Program Therapist provides therapy services and collaborates with other care providers to support client outcomes. The position is full-time and requires experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field and one year of therapy experience, or a master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
A Social Work or Professional Counseling license or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, or LIMFT-S.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
Provide patient visits as scheduled.
Keep each client's treatment plan up to date.
Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
Communicate and follow up as needed regarding client status.
Collaborate with providers delivering case management and/or psychiatric services.
