About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people experiencing extreme trauma. Its interdisciplinary team includes mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The Community Based/Day Program Therapist provides therapy and related services to clients in the assigned service area, including home settings as applicable. The position is full-time, with an annual salary of $52,000–$60,000. Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience, or a master’s degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
• A Social Work or Professional Counseling license or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, or LMFT.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

• Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
• Provide patient visits as scheduled.
• Keep each client’s treatment plan up to date.
• Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
• Communicate and follow up as needed regarding client status.
• Collaborate with staff providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
