About The Position

ViaQuest Psychiatric & Behavioral Solutions provides individualized care to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, people with developmental disabilities, and people experiencing extreme trauma. The Community-Based/Day Program Therapist works with clients as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes mental health counselors, social workers, certified nurse practitioners, case managers, and psychiatrists. The role includes conducting diagnostic assessments, providing scheduled patient visits, maintaining treatment plans and progress notes, communicating about client status, and collaborating with case management and psychiatric services. The position is full-time, hybrid, and requires travel throughout the assigned service area. Experience with intellectual and developmental disabilities is highlighted.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field with one year of therapy experience, or a Master's degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling.
Social Work/Professional Counseling license or equivalent: LSW, LISW, LISW-S, LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LMFT, LIMFT, or LIMFT-S.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments.
Provide patient visits as scheduled.
Ensure treatment plans are up to date for each client.
Complete comprehensive and succinct progress notes.
Communicate and follow up as needed regarding the client's status.
Work collaboratively with those providing case management and/or psychiatric services.
