About The Position

Open Sky’s DDS Employment Services supports people ages 22–55 who receive employment and/or community-based day support. The service helps individuals choose, acquire, and maintain a job of their choice and/or develop a valued role in their community. Individuals may have safety, behavioral, or other clinical challenges, and staffing ratios are designed to provide support while helping them obtain and maintain preferred community employment.

The Community Based Support Staff member ensures a supportive, structured environment and helps individuals develop social skills and coping strategies to stay safe and work ready. The role also includes educating individuals through the creation and implementation of individualized service plans, with an emphasis on community integration.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a supportive and structured environment.
• Help individuals develop social skills and coping strategies to stay safe and work ready.
• Create and implement individualized service plans.
• Support community integration.
• Facilitate the development of valued community roles and personal relationships.
• Review and complete required documentation.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals.
• Implement service and behavior plans.
