About The Position

Open Sky’s DDS Employment Services supports adults ages 22–55 who receive employment and/or community-based day support. The program helps individuals choose, acquire, and maintain jobs of their choice and/or develop valued roles in their communities. Individuals may have unique safety, behavioral, or other clinical challenges, and program staffing ratios are designed to provide support while helping them obtain and maintain preferred community jobs.

The Community Based Support Staff member ensures a supportive, structured environment and helps individuals develop social skills and coping strategies to stay safe and work ready. The role also involves educating individuals through the creation and implementation of individualized service plans, with a focus on community integration.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the development of valued community roles and personal relationships.
• Review and complete all required documentation.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all individuals.
• Implement all service and behavior plans.
• Help individuals develop social skills and coping strategies to stay safe and work ready.
• Create and implement individualized service plans with a focus on community integration.
