About The Position

Leland Management is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager for one of our communities in the Clermont, FL area. This full-time position (Monday thru Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm with occasional weekends and evenings) offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits. The Community Association Manager is responsible for the management and day-to-day implementation of procedures and programs to ensure well-managed and maintained property, with a high emphasis on positive response to the concerns and needs of Association Board Members and Homeowners. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of communities, soliciting bids and monitoring maintenance programs, acting as the liaison for property resolutions, managing individual account information with confidentiality, developing and monitoring property budgets, coordinating and issuing vendor contracts, and preparing monthly board packages. Daily use of company software (Caliber), Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel documents is required.

Requirements

  • Experience with site inspections.
  • Experience with covenant enforcement.
  • Experience assisting boards with day-to-day aspects of managing an association.
  • Experience preparing for and conducting association meetings.
  • Experience reviewing financial reports.
  • Experience preparing budgets.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience preparing service bids and overseeing contractors.
  • Knowledgeable with Florida Statutes.
  • Proficient with understanding and executing the requirements of the governing documents of an association.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Ability to communicate with support staff (accounting, administrative, mailroom, architectural review).
  • MUST be a Florida Licensed Community Association Manager.
  • Experience in an environment requiring high levels of customer service.
  • Highly motivated and confident professional.

  • Competent in Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Experience with financial reports and budgets.
  • 2+ years’ work experience in Association Management.
  • Prior people and project management experience with condominiums, apartments, hotels, time-shares, developer, townhomes or homeowner’s associations.
  • Strong working knowledge of Florida Statute 718 (Condominium Law), including compliance, governance, and operational requirements for condominium associations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Association Software such as Caliber.
  • Experience managing RV resorts or lifestyle-driven residential communities.
  • Knowledge of hospitality or resort operations, with an emphasis on resident and guest experience, amenity management, and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and implement procedures and programs for well-managed and maintained property.
  • Respond positively to the concerns and needs of Association Board Members and Homeowners.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of communities.
  • Solicit bids, provide comparisons, and monitor maintenance programs for property and aesthetic appearance.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors.
  • Act as the sole and ultimate liaison for all property resolutions, utilizing sound business judgment to resolve issues and conflicts.
  • Manage individual account information with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Communicate professionally, both orally and in writing, effectively.
  • Develop and monitor property budgets on a timely basis to support the financial expectations of the Board and Association.
  • Coordinate, negotiate, and issue vendor contracts for property services in accordance with the management agreement.
  • Prepare a monthly board package to the Board of Directors, including a management report outlining actions required, proposals, correspondence, and financial reporting.
  • Daily use of company software (Caliber), Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel documents for communication, organization, and detailed follow-through.
