About The Position

We are looking for a Communications Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with 2–3 years of experience who enjoys creating content, telling stories, and bringing company moments to life across digital and in-person experiences. You will play a key role in supporting both external brand presence and internal employee engagement by producing content, managing social media, and helping coordinate events. This is a hands-on position focused on execution, with the opportunity to grow your skills and impact over time.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across different audiences and platforms
  • Comfortable and experienced with social media platforms and content creation
  • Ability to create clean, professional visual content
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Self-starter who can take initiative and turn ideas into content

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day activity across company social media platforms, including LinkedIn and Instagram
  • Develop and publish content aligned with company priorities, milestones, and culture
  • Identify appropriate channels, posting cadence, and content strategies for different audiences
  • Translate project wins, employee stories, and company updates into engaging, platform-specific content
  • Support internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and updates
  • Assist with communication planning and execution for employee-focused initiatives
  • Partner with the Culture Committee to promote events and engagement activities
  • Help ensure employees feel informed, connected, and aligned with company messaging
  • Coordinate communication logistics for company events, including project milestones, outreach meetings, town halls, and culture events
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support planning and execution
  • Capture events through photos, short-form video, and written recaps for internal and external use
  • Maintain ownership of communication touchpoints related to events
  • Create graphics and visual assets for social media, internal communications, and events using tools such as Canva
  • Capture and edit short-form video content using mobile or basic equipment
  • Ensure all materials align with established brand standards and visual identity
