About The Position

The Solomon Islands Australia Health Partnership (Health Partnership) is a bilateral health systems-strengthening partnership that supports the Ministry of Health and Medical Services (MHMS) to implement the National Health Strategic Plan 2022–2031. The Partnership combines direct financing to MHMS, provincial performance-linked grants, targeted procurement, and catalytic technical assistance delivered through the ASIPS+ Facility. Its focus is on strengthening provincial service delivery, improving MHMS policy, leadership and management capabilities, and advancing clinical governance systems that promote safety, quality, and reliable standards of care. Cross-cutting priorities—including gender equality, disability inclusion, climate resilience, localisation, and strategic communications—are integrated across all implementation areas. At DT Global Asia Pacific, we aim to positively impact people’s lives through delivery excellence. As a leading implementing partner across Asia and the Pacific, we co-create locally led solutions in partnership with governments, communities, and stakeholders. We bring together talented teams and deep regional expertise to deliver initiatives that promote inclusive economic growth, essential services, and resilient, secure communities. With over 1,500 staff, experts in 22+ countries and more than 60 years of development experience, we tackle complex community, national and transnational challenges — from governance and justice systems to climate resilience, infrastructure and social equity — with innovative thinking and a commitment to long-term impact. The Communications Officer produces high-quality communications and public diplomacy materials that showcase the achievements of the Solomon Islands Australia Partnership for Health. Under the guidance of the Strategic Communications Specialist and in close coordination with MHMS and DFAT communications teams, the role gathers field-level stories, develops written and visual content, supports visibility for key events and program milestones, and assists in the monitoring and reporting of communication activities.
