As a Communications and Operations Specialist Senior within PNC’s Marketing and Communications team, you will help shape and deliver communications that position PNC Technology as a key driver of business growth and a cornerstone of PNC’s Brilliantly Boring brand. This proactive, detail-oriented communicator thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering clear, accurate and strategically aligned messages. The specialist manages and improves project management systems—including intake, editorial calendars and reporting dashboards—while supporting planning, research and development of communications across channels and topics. By collecting and synthesizing data to identify trends and boost productivity, the specialist drives operational excellence and supports the team’s success. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners are essential to ensure clarity, accuracy and alignment in all communications. Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience with planning and organizing, project management, and process management.

Responsibilities

  • Helps design, develop, produce and consult on a variety of internal and external communications.
  • Supports the planning and research for - and development of - communications.
  • Helps ensure clarity, accuracy, and strategic alignment of message on all aspects of a communication.
  • Proactively collects and synthesizes data in order to identify trends.
  • Readily identifies tactical implications.
  • Actively participates on cross-functional teams, helps influence outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.
  • This includes following established processes and protocols for reviews and approvals, including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and / or other key partners.
