About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Senior Manager, Product and Technology Communications to lead the narrative around its foundational AI architecture, the System of Context. This role is a narrative leadership opportunity responsible for crafting the perception of how Salesforce's System of Context functions as the enterprise's "shared memory." The position requires bridging the gap between technical architectures and the media's understanding of Salesforce's AI strategy. The ideal candidate is a technical storyteller who can simplify complex AI and platform technologies into agenda-setting stories, thriving in a high-visibility environment where priorities evolve rapidly.

Requirements

8+ years in communications, with a focus on B2B Tech, SaaS, or AI.
Ability to become a true subject-matter expert on topics like RAG, metadata, workflows, and agent orchestration.
Proven experience providing counsel to Product and Engineering leaders to refine technical narratives.
A no ego, highly collaborative attitude with the ability to pivot as product features or launch dates shift.
Exceptional ability to turn complex concepts into compelling, human-centered stories that resonate with tier-1 business and tech media.

Experience with product-led-growth (PLG) models is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and land the story of Salesforce foundational architecture layer, the System of Context, including how it functions as the enterprise’s “shared memory” that transforms raw, fragmented data into governed, actionable context for AI agents.
Partner deeply with Product and Engineering to identify disruptive features—from AI-powered workflows to data integrations—mining for stories before they hit the market.
Build and cultivate a new network of relationships with emerging media, influential tech creators, and Substack writers to reach the next generation of customers.
Translate complex enterprise AI concepts into relatable narratives for mainstream and consumer-centric media, illustrating how agentic technology improves the daily lives and experiences of individual humans.
Lead the end-to-end comms lifecycle for product launches, including messaging frameworks and technical FAQs, while ghostwriting high-impact blog posts, scripts, and bylines to drive the narrative.
Serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, prepping them for interviews and how to navigate sensitive topics.
Direct external agency partners to ensure they are hitting proactive pitching targets and are deeply briefed on the nuances of the agentic enterprise.
Collaborate with global comms leads to ensure product messaging is consistent across regions while remaining culturally and technically relevant.
